Meet Lorie

Lorie Craig provides adult ADHD screening, ADHD counselling, trauma, grief, anxiety, burnout, and life transition counselling in Regina and virtually across Saskatchewan.

Welcome. I'm glad you're here.

Seeking support can feel like a significant step, especially if you've been carrying life's challenges on your own for a long time. My goal is to provide a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood.

Beyond the ordinary

I believe counselling should be practical, collaborative, and grounded in real life. Together we'll work to better understand your experiences, develop effective coping strategies, and build on your strengths so you can move toward the life you want.

Areas of Focus

Adult ADHD

Living with ADHD as an adult can affect every aspect of daily life, from work and relationships to organization, emotional regulation, and self-esteem. Together, we'll explore how ADHD impacts your unique experiences while developing practical strategies to improve focus, manage overwhelm, build routines, and better understand your strengths. My approach is compassionate, evidence-based, and tailored to your individual goals.

Trauma/PTSD

Trauma can leave lasting effects on the mind, body, and nervous system, making it difficult to feel safe, connected, or fully present. I provide a supportive, trauma-informed space where we work at your pace to process difficult experiences, reduce distress, strengthen coping skills, and help you regain a sense of safety and control.

Anxiety

Anxiety can leave you feeling overwhelmed, constantly worried, or emotionally and physically exhausted. Through counselling, we'll identify the thoughts, behaviours, and patterns that fuel anxiety while learning practical tools to manage symptoms, build resilience, and regain confidence in daily life.

Depression

Depression can make even the simplest tasks feel overwhelming and leave you feeling disconnected from yourself and others. I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental environment where we'll explore the underlying factors contributing to your depression while developing practical strategies to improve mood, increase motivation, and reconnect with what matters most to you.

My Approach

At Wolf Willow Counselling, I believe that meaningful change begins with feeling genuinely heard, understood, and supported. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique experiences, strengths, and goals. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all approach, we work together to understand what has brought you to counselling and identify practical strategies that fit your life.

I use evidence-based approaches, meaning the techniques we use are supported by research and adapted to your individual needs. Whether you're navigating ADHD, anxiety, trauma, grief, burnout, depression, or a major life transition, therapy is designed to help you better understand yourself, develop effective coping skills, and create lasting, meaningful change.

I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is to provide guidance, education, and support while creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore challenges openly. Together, we'll celebrate your strengths, work through obstacles, and build practical tools that help you move toward the life you want to live.

What to Expect

Your first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We'll spend time discussing what has brought you to counselling, your personal history, the challenges you're currently experiencing, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. There is no pressure to share everything at once—we move at a pace that feels comfortable and manageable for you.

Together, we'll identify meaningful goals and develop a plan that reflects your priorities. Therapy is a collaborative process, and your goals can evolve as your needs change. Throughout our work together, we'll regularly check in on your progress, celebrate successes, and adjust our approach when needed.

Every session is tailored to where you are on that particular day. Some sessions may focus on learning practical strategies and developing new skills, while others may provide space to process difficult emotions or significant life experiences. My goal is to help you leave each session feeling supported, understood, and equipped with tools that you can apply in your everyday life.

Whether you're seeking short-term support for a specific challenge or longer-term therapy for ongoing growth and healing, we'll work together at a pace that feels right for you while building confidence, resilience, and lasting change.
