Addictions Counselling
Addictions counselling provides a supportive, non-judgmental space for individuals who may be struggling with substance use, addictive behaviours, or unhealthy coping patterns. Addiction can impact many areas of life including relationships, work, emotional wellbeing, physical health, and self-esteem. Whether you are questioning your relationship with substances, actively trying to make changes, returning to recovery, or supporting a loved one through addiction, counselling can help you better understand the underlying factors contributing to these patterns.
Our approach focuses on compassion, self-awareness, and practical strategies for change. Together, we explore triggers, stress, trauma, emotional regulation, coping skills, relapse prevention, and the impact addiction may be having on daily life. Counselling may also address concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, grief, or relationship difficulties that often occur alongside addiction.
Support is available for concerns related to alcohol, cannabis, prescription medications, stimulants, gambling, pornography, internet use, and other compulsive or addictive behaviours. Sessions are tailored to each individual’s goals, whether that involves harm reduction, moderation, sobriety, rebuilding relationships, or improving overall mental health and functioning.
